It was a great source of comfort knowing that you were at the end of the telephone whilst my wife and daughter were transporting horses to shows etc at various locations. “Well would you believe it! Yesterday I set out to go showjumping with the horse and trailer and guess what a hose clip broke on my landrover, the temperature gauge went through the roof as all the coolant poured out on the road and I had to pull in quickly before the engine would have been damaged. I have never been so thankful to have set up this membership, which as you know has only been in place 14 days. I rang up and a guy called Peter helped me so much, nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t have any details of my insurance company or breakdown cover on the landrover, all I remembered it was through Swinton. Peter found the phone number for me and checked on me regularly after that. Once it became clear that my landrover would have to be towed away he found someone to bring a 4x4 to come and recover the trailer, me and my horse. Thank you so much, I don’t know what I would have done without Equine Rescue. Please thank Peter for me once again he was so kind and reassuring and made a stressful situation much, much better. ”

“My breakdown had the makings of a nightmare scenario as my vehicle stopped in the middle of traffic lights on an A road in very busy traffic. I was 3 hours from home, travelling alone and to make matters worse my mobile was low on battery charge. I was towed to a safe position where my horse was offloaded into a very smart horsebox and we were taken home in style. “I had a blow out just as I was arriving at Windsor Horse Show, where I was showing my pony in the Mountain & Moorland class. As you can imagine, this was quite stressfull as I was cutting it a bit fine with time. I called your services, which I have used before and was immediately reassured by the calmness of ther operator. The man at the entrance to the horse show let me park nearby & took my keys. I relayed this imformation to you and set about getting my pony ready. The organisers were very helpful with my predicament & when I was in the show ring someone asked me who was looking after my horsebox while it was being mended. I said that no one was, they were just getting on with it. I was delighted to be placed 5th in my class and even more pleased to find that on my return, your operator had been, replaced the tyre and gone, without any fuss. In my opinion, your service is second to none.”

“I was driving along when I heard a noise that indicated I had a puncture and I tried to pretend to myself it was the wind, because breaking down was my worst nightmare. As well as being on a very busy road and having horses on board, my 2 children were also with me but when I pulled in I didn't have to think twice, I called the number on your card and suddenly everything was taken care of, it was such a relief.
