Orchard Scurry Team's 'Touch and Go', sponsored by ERS, have qualified for this year's Horse of the Year Show by winning at the recent Suffolk County show.

Chris and Paul Orchard sent us this update:

"Great news, we've qualified 'Touch & Go' for this years 'Horse Of the Year Show' (HOYS) by winning at the recent Suffolk County show. We're delighted with the ponies so far this season as they've been going really well and getting many top placings in all the other competitions.

"'Rough & Tumble' are also having a very good season so far but have not got their HOYS place yet but we hope we can get them qualified as well in the next few competitions, we've just been a little unlucky with them up to now. In some of the races 'Rough & Tumble' have even beaten 'Touch & Go' but not in the competitions that we needed them to!.

"At the recent Hickstead Derby meeting we were delighted to be filmed by Sky Sports which went out 'Live' then was repeated several times over the following few days as well.

"We've attached a couple of recent pictures of 'Touch & Go' and 'Rough & Tumble' for you, as you'll see they really are flying round the cones and loving every minute of it!

"We're fitting in a few HDT events as well this year with the team. We were at the very last event to be held at Brighton in June and had some very good scores in the dressage went clear in the cones and completed the marathon within the times allowed! pretty impressive for scurry ponies!
