Orchard Scurry Team's 'Rough & Tumble' qualify for HOYS

Orchard Scurry Team's 'Rough & Tumble', sponsored by ERS, have qualified for this year's Horse of the Year Show by winning at the recent Edenbridge & Oxted show. They will be joining the team's 'Touch & Go', who have already qualified.

Tyre blowout and pony with colic? No problem

When Orchard Scurry Team, who are sponsored by Equine Rescue, were on their way to the New Forest Show, they had a tyre blowout and had to call ERS. Then, when they were on their way home again, one of their ponies developed colic and they had to call us again. Chris and Paul Orchard wrote to tell us all about it and to send us some pictures:

"The New Forest Show; there and back in a day; to include three scurry driving classes (all HOYS qualifiers); no problem we thought!

ERS rescues Junior European Championships rider

A young horsewoman on her way home from the European Junior and Young Rider Dressage Championships was glad to be able to call ERS when her horsebox broke down in Germany.

Samantha Thurman-Baker, 17, who had been competing on her horse Spring Pascal, did very well in the competition, but had trouble with her vehicle on the way back. Luckily, she was able to take advantage of ERS's European Assistance service.

Orchard Scurry Team's 'Touch and Go', sponsored by ERS, have qualified for this year's Horse of the Year Show by winning at the recent Suffolk County show.

"Great news, we've qualified 'Touch & Go' for this years 'Horse Of the Year Show' (HOYS) by winning at the recent Suffolk County show. We're delighted with the ponies so far this season as they've been going really well and getting many top placings in all the other competitions.

ERS rescues Horses4Heroes rider

Equine Rescue Services recently supported the charity Help for Heroes by offering free roadside assistance to all participants travelling to and from the Horses4Heroes sponsored ride at Windsor Great Park and Ascot Racecourse on 10th July.
